Some problems are best tackled with friends. Small groups are wonderful resources for students to be able to share a difficult or painful issue, learn coping skills to deal with a problem, and know they are not alone in their life experiences. Small groups offer students the chance to grow in their understanding of what others are going through and make connections to their own lives.

Mrs. Bobrow is pleased to offer several small group sessions throughout the school year. Each session runs for six weeks. Individual meeting times typically last about 30 minutes and meeting days vary so the student is not always missing the same class.

To sign up for a group:
1. Students must complete an application (click here for an application)
2. Parents must sign a permission slip (click here for the permission slip).
3. Please click here for a sample lesson plan from a typical small group. Your student will come home each session with a “Fast Facts” sheet for you to continue the conversation at home.
